I've missed your lovely face too, Kate. We're just weighing up our options right now. If we can't turn the property we buy into an income stream so that we can KEEP ON travelling for so many months of each year, then we're better off to just continue being a bit gypsy-ish and plonk ourselves into a short term rental every once in awhile for me to work in an intensive burst. Your comment about jealousy? That isn't you, my sweet friend -- what you are is envious. And you aren't alone. We've heard from lots of our friends back in Australia that they would LOVE to do what we are doing if they were commitment free. So we're living this dream for ourselves and a lot of people who are unable to be this free for whatever reason. And perhaps it will inspire other middle-aged nomads to get out of a rut and do something similarly crazy-wonderful!

I have really appreciated traveling vicariously through your photos and blogs. I do miss seeing you in Clunes but I love seeing where you pop up next and I confess to a bit of jealousy and some rather itchy feet. All the best for your house hunting in France. I remember looking at an advetisement for a lovely little attelier within the walls of Vence once. Ho hum. We can all dream, but you are living it!

My brain says, "You're just the same" but the bod certainly screams otherwise. Yep -- I'll keep moving!

Thank you for your charming comments on the writing, John. Yes, I am quite aware of who Sri Aurobindi is. When I was doing a graduate degree, one of my thesis advisors at Goddard College in Vermont was a member of Auroville. Loved your PS note, by the way!
